1980: Doug Flynn becomes the first Met ever to hit three triples in one game.
1984: George Foster hits a two-run single in the 10th inning for a 3-1 Mets victory over the Pirates at Pittsburgh. Wes Gardner records his first major league win.
1985: Darryl Strawberry hits three home runs in a 7-2 Mets win over the Cubs at Chicago.
1988: After missing six weeks with an injury, Keith Hernandez returns to the Mets' lineup and hits a game-winning homer. The Mets defeat the Pirates, 3-2, at Pittsburgh.
1993: Jeromy Burnitz drives in seven runs in the Mets' 12-9 victory over the Expos in 13 innings at Montreal. Mike Draper records his only major league win.
1994: The Mets build a 7-0 lead and hole on for a 10-7 win over the Marlins at Shea Stadium. It is the Mets' final home win of the strike-shortened season.
2007: Tom Glavine becomes the 23rd 300-game winner in baseball history in the Mets' 8-3 win over the Cubs.
2009: The Mets defeat the Cardinals, 9-0, at Citi Field. Nelson Figueroa gets the win, pitching four and one-third innings of shutout relief and hitting a two-run triple.
