The Buffalo Bisons are the New York Mets' top minor league team, and the home of the Mets' top prospects. The Mets were finally able to get a AAA team close to their Major League and AA clubs after the Indians signed the Columbus Clippers to be their new minor league team.

Players like Argenis Reyes and Jon Niese started the 2009 season in Buffalo.
