Jon Adkins

Jonathan Scott Adkins (born August 30, 1977 in Huntington, West Virginia) is a Major League Baseball pitcher currently playing in the Cincinnati Reds organization. A graduate of Oklahoma State, the right-hander was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the ninth round of the 1998 Major League Baseball Draft, and played in parts of three seasons with the Chicago White Sox (2003-2005).

Jon was traded to the Mets for Heath Bell,Ben Johnson, and Royce Ring. He ony played for the Mets in 2007.
