1980: Pat Zachry pitches a three-hit shutout over the Pirates. The Mets win, 2-0.

1998: The Mets traded Brian Bohanon to the Los Angeles Dodgers for Greg McMichael.

1999: Matt Franco hits a two-run single in the ninth inning off Mariano Rivera to give the Mets a 9-8 win over the Yankees at Shea Stadium.

2009: The Mets trade Ryan Church to the Atlanta Braves for Jeff Francoeur.
