1986: The Mets lose to the Astros, 3-0, in Houston. It is the team's first shutout loss since September 11 the previous year. The Mets had gone 110 games without being blanked.

1998: Mike Piazza hits two home runs in the Mets' 7-0 win over the Phillies at Shea Stadium.

2010: Ike Davis hits a run-scoring double in the 10th inning to give the Mets a 4-3 win at San Francisco.
