1962: Rod Kanehl hits the first grand slam in Mets' history in a 10-3 win over the Cardinals. Also in the game, Gil Hodges hits his 370th and final major league homer.

1966: The Mets hit seven doubles in a 7-5 win at Philadelphia.

1968: Phil Linz and Cleon Jones combine for nine hits and six RBIs in the Mets' 11-6 win at Philadelphia.

1970: Tommie Agee hits for the cycle in the Mets' 10-3 win over the Cardinals.

1984: The Mets sweep a doubleheader against the Reds, 1-0 and 6-5. Kelvin Chapman's ninth-inning single scores Jose Oquendo with the winning run in the second game.

2008: Fernando Tatis hits a two-run homer in the 12th inning to give the Mets a 4-2 win over the Phillies at Philadelphia.

2010: Johan Santana hits his first major league home run off the Reds' Matt Maloney. Santana also pitches a 3-hit shutout for a 3-0 win.
