1971: The Mets defeat the Phillies, 6-5, in 15 innings. Ken Singleton homers in the fourteenth to retie the game and Donn Clendenon homers in the fifteenth to win it.
1987: John Mitchell pitches a complete game for his first major league win in an 8-1 Mets victory over the Phillies at Shea Stadium.
1988: David Cone pitches a two-hit shutout as the Mets defeat the Phillies, 6-0, at Shea Stadium.
1990: The Mets trade Brian Givens to the Seattle Mariners for Mario Diaz.
1992: The Mets defeat the Cardinals, 4-3, at Shea Stadium. Vince Coleman singles home the winning run in the ninth inning.
1994: Dwight Gooden gets his last win as a Met in a 6-1 victory over the Marlins. Gooden pitches 8 innings with 6 strikeouts.
1997: Jason Hardtke hits a run-scoring single in the ninth inning to give the Mets a 7-6 win over the Pirates at Shea Stadium.
2004: The Mets defeat the Tigers, 4-3, on Mike Cameron's single in the bottom of the 10th inning.
2010: Jose Reyes homers twice off Yankees' pitcher Phil Hughes in a 5-3 loss.
