1970: Jim McAndrew pitches a five-hit shutout and Art Shamsky hits a two-run homer for a 2-0 Mets win at Houston. It is the Mets' first victory after seven straight losses at the Astrodome.

1974: The Mets defeat the Astros, 6-5, in 14 innings at the Astrodome in Houston.

1975: The Mets defeat the Braves, 7-6, in 14 innings at Shea Stadium. Felix Millan scores the winning run on a wild pitch.

1991: Howard Johnson hits a home run in the 11th inning to give the Mets a 4-3 win over the Astros at Houston.
