Lastings Milledge

Lastings Milledge was one of the guys expected to be the Mets' future big star together with David Wright and Jose Reyes. But things did not go as planned. Milledge showed off a tremendous arm, great speed, and some power, but didn't hit consistently enough to convince the Mets that he was still a future star. The Mets traded him to the Washington Nationals for Ryan Church and Brian Schneider.

Milledge is now a every day center fielder for the Nationals. He is batting third in the order in Washington, but not playing any better than he did with the Mets.
