Manny Acosta

Manuel Alcides "Manny" Acosta Molina (born May 1, 1981 in Colon, Panama) is a Major League Baseball relief pitcher for the New York Mets. On March 30, 2010 Acosta was clamied off waiver by the Mets from the Atlanta Braves. He is currently replacing Ryota Igarashi who went to the DL on April 21, 2010.

Since Igarashi came back, he was sent back to Buffalo Bisons.

On July 22, 2010, Manny replaced Fernando Nieve after Nieve was put for DFA.
