1977: The Mets defeat the Giants, 4-3, to complete a sweep of a three-game series at Shea Stadium. Jackson Todd pitches seven shutout innings and records his first major league win.
1989: The Mets draw four consecutive walks in the 10th inning for a 3-2 win over the Giants at Shea Stadium.
1992: The Mets defeat the Padres, 8-0, at San Diego. David Cone records his fourth win and third shutout of the year.
1997: John Olerud hits a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Mets a 4-3 win over the Rockies at Shea Stadium.
2006: David Wright's run-scoring single in the ninth inning gives the Mets a 7-6 win over the Yankees at Shea Stadium.
2010: R.A. Dickey makes his Mets debut at Washington. He gets a no-decision in the Mets' 5-3 loss to the Nationals. In the game, Angel Pagan hits an inside-the-park home run in the top of the fourth inning and starts a triple play in the bottom of the fifth.
