Philip Humber

Philip Humber was the overall third pick of the 2003 draft. He only started one game with four relief appearances. All this let done is mostly due to Tommy John Surgery that he had in 2005.

He made his only start with the Mets on September 26 in the middil of the Mets biggest Mets collapse ever, he did not help the Mets as he pitched four innings and gave up five runs.

On February 2, 2008 season Philip was part of the Johan Santana deal that sent him with Kevin Mulvey, Deolis Guerra, and Carlos Gomez.

He is now a starter with the Twins.
