Reese Havens was drafted in the first round of the 2008 draft, he was drafted 22 over all, he was the Mets second pick of that draft, the first one was Ike Davis.

Havens is a shortstop from the University of South Carolina.

He is now with the Brooklyn Cyclones, Havens may also be able to play cather which would help the Mets because they now have Jose Reyes.
