The Mets

On May 7, 2010 Barajas hit the first ever walk-off home run at Citi Field in a 6-4 Mets win over the Giants. It was his third multi-homer game in his first 5 weeks of the season as a Met. Followed by Henry Blanco who hit the second on May 8, 2010. It was the first time in the major leagues that two catchers in back to back days in 24 hours hit walk off homers.

The Mets signed Barajas that sended Omir Santos down to the minors on February 20, 2010 as Henry Blanco would be the backup catcher.

On June 24, 2010, Barajas had a stiff back and was put on the bench. But he wasn't placed on the DL as the Mets called up Josh Thole and placed Raul Valdes to the Minors.

On July 26, 2010, Barajas was placed on the DL as Mike Hessman replaced him.

He was taken by waviers by the dodgers for money.
