This is one of the worse trades the Mets have made, sending Scott away from New York was just stupid. The Mets GM was Jim Duquette, who is now remembered by Mets fans for this trade.

The Mets pitching coach of the time Rick Peterson scouted Victor and said he knew what was wrong with him and that he can fix it in ten minuets.

As we all know he was wrong, Scott is still doing great in Tampa and Victor now a free against

Bartolome Fortunato was the worse, in 29 innings with the Mets he gave up 20 runs and 5 houm runs.
