1964: The Mets defeat the Giants, 4-0, at San Francisco. Tracy Stallard strikes out ten batters and pitches a five-hit shutout.

1966: The Mets score three runs in the ninth inning to defeat the Giants, 5-4, at San Francisco.

1974: The Mets and Expos split a doubleheader at Montreal. In the second game, Randy Sterling records his only major league win in the Mets' 3-2 victory.

1976: Jerry Koosman wins his 20th game of the season in the Mets' 4-1 victory over the Cardinals.

1986: The Mets defeat the Cardinals, 4-2, at St. Louis to clinch a tie for the National League East Division title.

1987: Dwight Gooden pitches a 10-0 shutout over the Expos at Montreal. Len Dykstra hits a grand slam in the game.

1998: The Mets defeat the Astros, 4-3, in 11 innings at the Houston Astrodome. Mike Piazza hits a three-run homer in the ninth inning. Todd Hundley drives in the winning run in the 11th with his last home run as a Met.

2010: The Mets complete a four-game series sweep with a 6-2 win over the Pirates at Citi Field. Winning pitcher Mike Pelfrey drive in the winning run.

2011: The Mets collect 20 hits in a 12-2 win over the Braves in Atlanta.
