1992: Sid Fernandez pitches a five-hit shutout as the Mets defeat the Expos, 1-0, at Shea Stadium. Ryan Thompson singles home Jeff Kent in the second inning for the game's only run.

2005: Mike Jacobs singles home the winning run in the 12th inning to give the Mets a 3-2 victory over the Marlins at Shea Stadium.
